future of the part time MBA in India?
it is a question which raises in every 3rd student's mind who is going to enrol for this.
i would like to tell you that MBA is a complete course in it self. it gives you knowledge of your field, it gives you power to be clear towards your career, it gives you platform to start your career with more confidence, it gives you way to do some thing unique from other, it gives you way to Stand aside from other.
and a developing country like India it will give more chances to shine than a developed country because here you will able to innovate as per you knowledge, for you and your nation.

I'll give you some data after that you can decide which one is better. Let us compare Harvard University USA and IIM Ahmedabad. Both are in the rank one position in their respective countries.
Fees
The minimum amount to do MBA from Harvard is around RS 60-70Lakhs and from IIM it is around Rs 20-30Lakhs including all fees and stay.
Placement
The average package of Harvard is Rs 76lakhs and IIM is Rs 26lakhs. Some few will get international placement form IIM where the salary will be very high. But the probability of International placement of IIM is very low as compared to Harvard.

You will have to clear aptitude tests such as CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT/ATMA-AIMS etc or equivalent as applicable to the institute of your choice. Based on the scores so obtained you will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the respective Institute. Admissions will be based on the overall performance.

No. MBA/PGDM is more valuable than this 5 year course. This is a good course for someone who is interested to study the subjects of management. However ideal situation is to pursue graduation from a regular college and then do 2 year. MBA

As your academic % is less than 50%, you can try private institutions in India. Overseas you may be eligible for MS programs but options would be limited!
