No, it's not necessary to have any work experience for getting admission in MBA through CAT. You can start preparing for CAT in the third year of B.Com.

You can pursue B.Tech from the engineering colleges offering admission through lateral entry. You cannot pursue MS or MBA after completing your Diploma.

Yes the opportunity is always there but you need to do MBA from an internationally reputed institute like IIM. I think that India is more suited for management education from all perspectives taken together.
