No, it's not necessary to have any work experience for getting admission in MBA through CAT. You can start preparing for CAT in the third year of B.Com.

If you have an opportunity to study in a reputed Indian Institution, you certainly shouldn't have any regret. You can feel proud of yourself. Some B-Schools of India are very good. You have get an excellent placement in your own country.

You can pursue B.Tech from the engineering colleges offering admission through lateral entry. You cannot pursue MS or MBA after completing your Diploma.

MBA with specialisation in IB has a lot of scope in India as well as other countries too.

Yes the opportunity is always there but you need to do MBA from an internationally reputed institute like IIM. I think that India is more suited for management education from all perspectives taken together.

Unless you do MBA from a top college, it may not add any value to your career. You are advised to appear for CAT, XAT and MAT to seek admission in top 30 B-Schools of India.
