Both MBA and MCA are good
MBA has more opportunities than MCA
So I would suggest go for MBA but from good colleges only
Start preparing for entrance exams from the third year itself
Score well and get a good college

Which companies come for recruitment? What is the average package offered to PGDM RM students? Do you provide 100% placements for RM?

RM students are allowed to sit for all marketing profiles. As such, companies like nestle, sap, google, Accenture, hul etc. come for recruitment. The packages offered vary between 8 to 16 lakhs.

HelloIf you are interested in MBA than you can take admission in IIMs through CAT
( common admission test ) exam.Other most of top management college get admission through CAT. So CAT is necessary for get admission in good colleges.You can prepare for CAT 2016 for doing this.

It depends on how you wish your career to shape up. If you are interested in management role, go for mba and if research or education, take master's degree.
