The curriculum for all specialisations is actively updated with inputs of Industry experts. The registration for the application process for the academic batch 2025-2027 has been started. Every year, the new batch usually begins in June. Early in May, the precise start date for the current academic batch is yet to be released. It is suggested to prospective candidates to reach out to the official website of the institution often to get updates.

NDIM accepts admission to PGDM course via online mode. Students need to fill an online application form along with paying an amount of INR 1,000 as an application fee.

According to NIRF 2024, NDIM has continuously been recognised as one of the top universities in a number of categories Comparing the institute's rankings from the previous year, under the 'Management' category has seen an upward trend.
