No, direct admission is not possible for the MBA at BIMHRD Pune. Selection is based on the scores obtained in either CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT or MH CET entrance exams. The institute shortlists candidates based on a valid entrance exam score. Further, the shortlisted candidates are evaluated based on their GD and PI scores.

To get admission to BIMHRD Pune MBA course, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Those who passed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the course. Futher, the institute accepts various state/ national-level entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ MH CET. Candidates need to qualify for any one of the entrance exam with a valid score. The final selection is done through Group Discussion and Personal Interview round conducted at the institute.

IKGPTU offers an MBA programme at PG-level. Candidates who have a graduation degree from a UGC-approved university are eligible to apply for the programme. The graduation degree should be of a minimum 3 years programme. MBA at IKGPTU is offered in three specialisations, from which a student can select as per their convenience and career choice.

For Sri Balaji University Pune MBA programme, there is no minimum score needed. However, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% of the possible points from an institution recognised by the UGC (45% for reserved categories). Additionally, they need to perform well on one of the following entrance tests:
- MAH-CET
- CAT
- MAT
- XAT
- CMAT
The highest exam score from any of these will be accepted by the university. The admission exam score has a 35% weighting in the selection procedure.
