The Complete University Guide has ranked it in the top 100 programs in the UK in its Accounting & Finance and Business & Management Studies ranking since 2017. Similarly, The Guardian has also placed it under the top 100 ranking in the UK in its Accounting & Finance and Business, Management & Marketing ranking since 2017 and 2020 respectively. Both the ranking publishers have also placed it under the top 100 positions for engineering programme rankings. According to The Guardian, Business, Management & Marketing course is ranked at 95th position in 2023. The Complete University Guide ranked Business and Management Studies at 103rd position in 2023. 

Going as per the last few year trends, candidates are expected to have an overall cutoff of 70 percentile in MAT. Amrut Mody School of Management cutoffs for admission to MBA programmes are based on MAT scores. To be eligible for MBA course, the applicants must meet the University of Strathclyde entry requirements given below:

Academic Qualifications

• The applicants must hold a degree from a UK university, or equivalent academic qualification from a comparable non-UK institute. A degree transcript is required by the university for all those applicants who have studied their undergraduate degree at a non-UK institute. Professional qualifications are also considered
• The applicants must be 24 years of age
• A minimum of 3 years of full-time postgraduate experience is also required. The work experience should be such where management of people and resources played a significant role

Apart from the above-given entry requirements, other Strathclyde University entry requirements are given below:

• GMAT: Though GMAT is not a standard requirement for admission to MBA course, but strong verbal reasoning and numerical abilities are critical for the MBA, so the University of Strathclyde may ask the applicants to take the test
• Competence in English: IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5
• Computer Competence: The applicants must be competent in word processing, the use of spreadsheets, and in report writing

IIM Sambalpur MBA application process is online. Admission to MBA is done through CAT exam score.

CAT 2023 registrations are closed. The steps to follow during CAT application process are as follows:

1. Visit the official website.

2. Click on New User Registration.

3. Enter a valid Email ID, mobile number and generate an OTP

4. An OTP will be sent on the mobile number entered by the candidate, enter the OTP and verify

5. After verification, log in using the user id and password received on the registered email ID

6. Fill in all the required details and upload relevant documents, don't forget to select IIM Sambalpur during the choice filling step
