There are many top MBA colleges in Kottayam using National level MBA entrance exams for selection of students and some private colleges/universities conduct their self entrance exams for student who wish to take admission. No, you cannot carry a calculator for the Karnataka PGCET exam. Besides canculators, candidates must not carry any of the below mentioned items to the exam centre:

  • Mobile phones
  • Pagers
  • Smartwatches
  • Pen-drive
  • or any other electronic gadgets

Candidates found in possession of any of the above mentioned item will get their candidature disqualified from participating in the admission process. Candidates must only carry a hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET admit card on the exam day along with a valid photo ID proof. Failing this, applicants will face denial in entry to the exam hall.

You can follow the below process to get admission at IIMHRD: 

•Make sure you clear the cut off in the entrance exam in any of these; CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, IIFT, NAT, MAH CET

•Submit the application form at IIMHRD by visiting their website

•It was follow up to Group Discussion and Personal Interview, that you need to clear

•Based on your performance in the entrance test score, GD, PI and work experience, your admission in the college will be decided. 

•Once you have cleared at these then you just need to submit the required documents and pay the course fees.

The eligibility criteria includes the following:

  1. An undergraduate degree from any recognised university/ college with at least 50% aggregate
  2. Candidate needs to appear for KMAT exam which is open for all the students
  3. VTU will shortlist candidates based on the qualifying exam scores.
  4. Another way is through managament quota
