It will be better to have dedicated preparations for CAT in the year in which you planning to appear for CAT. However, you may work to continuously improve your numerical, data interpretation and verbal communication ability along with your graduation study to improve your chances to crack CAT.

MBA in finance is a post graduation program and CFA is just a certificate program and has no degree available to it. So MBA is the right option.

You can apply with admission committee citing suitable reasons for opting out. Although you would not get degree certificate.

Dual would be a deadly combo. Although both are equally good and you should go according to your area of interest.

Firstly, you need to complete your graduation with a minimum of 60% marks (though eligibility criteria is 50% for some colleges). Then along with your graduation you need to start preparing for CAT. You can join a coaching for that or dedicated self-study will also do.
