To get into R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital (RGKMCH) for MBBS, you must:

1. Qualify NEET UG and rank high enough—general category closing rank in 2024 was ~7,437 (AIQ) and ~12,498 (West Bengal state quota) .

2. Eligibility: Complete 12th grade with 50% in PCB + English (40% for SC/ST/OBC), and be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year .

3. Counseling:

All India Quota (15%): Register via MCC, fill preferences, and report to college when allotted.

State Quota (85%): Register with WBMCC, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment via state counseling .
