The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course is the flagship UG programme at GIMS. Students can visit the official website of GIMS and learn more about the specific specialization-wise eligibility criteria. The admissions are held for UG students on the basis of the NEET examination. The NEET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and admissions are held on the basis of cutoffs.

It's difficult for you to get a seat in a government medical college.
You can choose private medical colleges; college choice depends on your state.

If the students are intending to practice medicine in India after pursuing MBBS in Uzbekistan, then they are required to submit their NEET scores. However, universities in Uzbekistan do not require NEET exam scores if you wish to continue studying in the country but they will have to check the university accreditation and recognition by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

According to the recent NMC guidelines, the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is mandatory for Indian students who want to study MBBS in Uzbekistan. Even if foreign universities do not require NEET exam for receiving admissions, Indian students have to submit their scores to be eligible for getting a medical license in India after their degree is complete.

An MBBS degree from Uzbekistan is valid in India, but the graduate students are required to pass the National Exit Test (NEXT) and this exam is going to replace the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) as the licensing exam for all the medical graduates which includes those from international universities. The National Medical Commission (NMC) of Indian has recognised MBBS degrees pursued in Uzbekistan and WHO also recognizes these degrees and the university should also be included in the NMC's list of foreign medical institutions.

To get admission in Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital (DSMCH) for MBBS, you need to qualify in the NEET-UG exam and participate in the Tamil Nadu NEET-UG counselling. After qualifying in NEET-UG, you must register online on the TN medical selection committee website to participate in the counselling. Then, you need to fill in your choices, participate in document verification, and if allotted a seat, report to the college with the required documents and fee payment.
