There are only 7 best Medical colleges in Mumbai. Out of which, 2 colleges are owned by government and the rest 1 is owned by the private sector.NEET is the most accepting entrance exam in the best MBBS colleges in Mumbai. Grant Medical College, Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Lokmanya Tilak Muncipal Medical College, Topiwala National Medical College, University of Mumbai and K J Somaiya Medical College are the top Medical colleges in Mumbai.

Yes, Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham offers an MBBA programme of four and a half academic years’ duration over which it is mandatory to go through one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). MBBS course is offered at Amrita School of Medicine under the Kochi campus of Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham and is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.

In order to get into MBBS at Amrita Vidya Vishwapeetham, Kochi, students’ must meet the below eligibility criteria:
- Admission of candidates is based on the centralized online allotment list published in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website
- NEET UG qualified candidates (both General and NRI category) who have been allotted to Amrita School of Medicine by the MCC, New Delhi are eligible to report for admission
