NO. No type of calculators, mobile phones, or any technological gadget is allowed during MBOSE exams. Any student caught carrying these will be barred from writing their exam.

No, you will not be allowed to write the MBOSE HSSLC exam without the admit card. Hence, it is suggested that you remember to carry this document of utmost importance, otherwise you either be wasting your time to get it from home or will miss the exam and awarded zero in the subject.

Many students wish to clear their board exams without studying, however, please note that you will not be able to pass the 12th class without securing the minimum passing marks of 33 in all subjects and also 33 percent in aggregate and will have to repeat an academic year. 

Thus, you are advised to go through the MBOSE 12th syllabus, and know the exam pattern so that you are able to build a strategy to score well in exams. Make notes of important points as you study. Stay confident and focus your energy on studies and you'll be able to pass with flying colours.

Not exactly the same, but, MBOSE can ask questions similar to what were asked in the previous years of MBOSE 12th exams. Thus, you are advised to download and practice the previous years' question papers thoroughly for better preparation.

You will need the details mentioned on your MBOSE HSSLC admit card to check your result. Its okay if you have the photocopies of your hall ticket and lost the original one. 

However, it is always advised to keep the documents like MBOSE Class 12 admit card secured till the announcement of results.

Meghalaya Board will release the MBOSE 12th sample papers 2026 soon on the official website- mbose.in. Once released, you can download MBOSE Class 12 sample question papers 2026 from the official website or from this page too. Students must download and practice the MBOSE 12th question papers of previous years' to know the marking scheme, the types of questions asked in the exam, gauge the difficulty level and more. 

It is advised that students solve and practice the MBOSE sample papers to ace the board examinations.

No, Meghalaya Board does not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the board exams. However, marks may be deducted for spelling mistakes and other errors in language papers.
