For enrolment in an MCA course, students shall have a valid UG/ BCA degree or BSc/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects.
- BE/BTech from a recognised University. Further, the student should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA.
- The minimum pass mark requisite for students belonging to SC/ ST categories is 55% aggregate or 6 CGPA.

The new session at NIT Raipur for MCA is supposed to begin in August similar to previous sessions. Students should await a notification from the college or check the official college website for the latest detailed information. However, the college has not released the definitive date for the new session.
