Eligibilty for Admission:
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority showing that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the print out of the application. True copies of the birth certificate issued by the competent authority passport/ school certificate-showing place of birth will also be accepted as proof of nativity.
Academic Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed BCA/B.Sc. IT COMPUTER Science Degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 12 level or at Graduate level. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50percentage marks in their Degree examination, but, it is 45 percent for candidates belonging to reserved category. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted. Candidate seeking admission to the course should be qualified from any of the universities in Kerala or any other Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. Final Year regular Bachelor's Degree students are also permitted to appear for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the original degree certificate and mark lists of all parts of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.

There is a common myth that only Science stream candidates can apply for the MCA course. This is not correct. Anyone who had Maths as one of the subjects in 12th can apply for the MCA course. Masters of Computer Applications is a post graduate course in the field of computers which is ideal for students who love computers. The MCA course will make you expert in the fields of:

System Management
Hardware Technology
Apart from what I wrote in the beginning there are some other requirements to get admission for MCA course:
1. You should have Maths as one of the subjects in 12th board or graduation course.
2. You must complete graduation from a recognised university.
3. You need to score around 50-60 percent marks in graduation course. This criteria is different for each entrance exam and university. Therefore please check with the university you wish to apply.
4. If you meet the requirements 1,2,3 then you can appear in almost every single entrance exam for MCA. Basically there are several entrance exams for MCA course. Some universities even conduct exam of their own. Try to pass the MCA course with at least 60 to 70 percent for job in good MNC. Most leading IT companies would not accept a candidate who has scored below 60 percent marks in Masters of Computer Applications course. However apart from MCA. Your performance in 10th, 12th and B.Com would also be evaluated. If meet the requirements, you can get job in IT companies like:
