No, students can not become surgeons after completing their MD course from AIIMS Bibinagar. The MD course is basically a research-focused or diagnosis-focused qualification. After completing the MD course, a student can become a Medical Researcher, Specialist Physician, etc. To become a surgeon, students are required to complete a Master of Surgery (MS) programme or equivalent, followed by a surgical residency and potentially a super-specialty MCh degree.

Firstly, all AIIMS in India offer one of the best medical courses in India. However, there are still some components that students can consider while comparing the AIIMS Hyderabad MD course with other AIIMS courses, such as,

  • Reputation and Ranking
  • Infrastructure and Hospital Load
  • Faculty and Academic Environment
  • Specialisations and Seat Matrix
  • Research Opportunities
  • Location and Cost of Living, etc.

While preparing a cutoff for the AIIMS Bibinagar MD course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff of AIIMS Bibinagar MD previous years' cutoff trends, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of qualified candidates, the total number of candidates applying for a specific course or college, the number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the cutoff for MD admission.
