If you are in the last year, you can apply for UES entry in both Navy and army, you can give AFCAT for Air Force and other exams. Most importantly you can fill for technical entries for which you are eligible in your 7th semester and after completing degree also. You will get a call for SSB based on overall marks in the academics.

According to my point of view, you should choose AMIE with mechanical engineering and if you continue your studies then you can choose M.Tech with polymer which is totally different from private B.Tech colleges.

Hi Rajkumar, Many 1-year programs are available like PG Diploma courses and Graduate certificate courses. Non-stream suggestions can be welcomed, but my friend, you must apply to a relevant course and something randomly. You must also do some research by visiting university websites and checking the many programs they offer. For one-year courses, you can consider Canada, Australia, UK and New Zealand. Business Management, Automobile Design, Robotics, and Management Information Systems are some courses that you can think of but do check the relevant entry requirements.

Hello Ganesh,
Yes, you can get lateral admission directly in second year after completion of diploma. However, please have a look at the webpage of DTE of tech education of Maharashtra about further details if any.

First of all, will you be specific and what do you mean by saying "campassing in the plea”?
Other than that, search for institutes where the criteria is 50% marks above, since your +2 marks is 57%.
Also, there are organizations where candidates with 50% marks and above get a chance to be recruited.

The placements for Amity-Kolkata is good as far as I know because many of my seniors have been placed in very good companies like Delloite, Indusland Bank, ITC, etc.

Amity-Kolkata is worth to do B.Tech mechanical and automation. But there are some subjects which are not needed but you still have to study them too. The best part is that you even have a foreign language i.e; French or German. You can opt for any one of them. And regarding placements, there are many peoples who have got placed in very good companies for ex-companies like ITC, Glenmark, Deloitte, Indusland Bank and more companies.
