The BTech Mechatronics Engg. coursework includes foundational subjects, computer and electronics topics and advanced design courses. It is important to keep in mind that each university structures their curriculum a little bit differently. You can easily get admission to BTech Mechatronics Engineering after the successful completion of Class 12 in PCMB subjects with a score of 55 percent marks. Some colleges can have higher eligibility requirements like 60% marks in Class 12.
You should surely visit the website of the college or university you're targeting to check their specific criteria, if any, to avoid any confusion or problems at the time of admission. Also, you must prepare for entrance tests for Mechatronics courses and score good marks in the same. The universities who offer admission on a merit basis may also conduct the PI or GD round

There is no such strict age specification for pursuing courses in Mechatronics Engineering at popular colleges and universities in India. But, looking at the previous admission processes in Mechatronics courses, students are usually between 18 years and 24 years of age at the time of taking admission to UG-level courses. For PG Mechatronics courses, the students are usually between 24 and 27 years of age.
