The fee of the Mechatronics Engineering course differs from institute to institute. The average tuition fee ranges from INR 4 lakh to INR 8 lakh. The fee structure in the private colleges is in the range of INR 7-14 lakh for the whole course. Candidates can also avail scholarships in private colleges on the basis of performance in their entrance examinations. The course fee is comparatively low in government colleges, except the IITs and NITs.

As per the new guidelines of AICTE and UGC, distance programs in Engineering aren't allowed since these disciplines require practical and industrial experience instead of distance learning. Thus, Mechatronics Engineering is also not offered in the distance learning programs. Therefore, candidates are advised to pursue various certificate, Diploma or degree level courses in full-time mode only in order to be eligible for placements and other employment opportunities.
You can go for online Mechatronics courses offered by various online platforms to enhance your learning, alongside regular full-time course in Mechatronics Engineering.

It is only a state of mind and depends on the level of effort we put in to doing something. Any field is easy if you try and the hardest when you don't try. Mechatronics engineering is an interdisciplinary area of study; therefore it needs extra effort from students. Yes, Mechatronics Engineering is a highly demanded course due to it's interdisciplinary nature.

Mechanical Engineering is a course which trains candidates on how to use tools and heavy machinery. It introduces learners to the designing and manufacturing of heavy machinery and other appliances such as vehicles, motors, aircrafts etc.

For 2023, the cut-off was 11894 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Mechatronics Engineering at IIT Bhilai - Indian Institute of Technology. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
