For Diploma in medical technology (DMLT) at Dr. B lal Institute of biotechnology minimum 50% marks are required. The basic requirements for admission to the DMLT programme at BIBT are a 10+2 grade point average of 45% to 50% and PCM/B as a required subject. Candidates for the DMLT Course can choose from a number of specialisations, including those in microbiology, clinical chemistry, clinical biochemistry, radiology, genetics, etc.

The eligibility for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45 percent aggregate.
