Hi. Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 2 year course that provides with the necessary expertise which the candidates need to possess in order to become professional medical officers and technicians in the laboratory. The eligibility of PGD in Medical Laboratory Technology is to have pursued a B.Sc. In Chemistry Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any other equivalent subjects with a minimum of 40% marks. To pursue PGDMLT candidates can directly apply to their preferred colleges as there are no entrance exams for this course. Once the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria can plan for the course. The average fee structure for a PGDMLT course is between INR 25,000 to INR 7.5 LPA. As per the career and job perspective, the average salary package goes from INR 3 LPA to INR 7 LPA. BMLT is a 3 years undergraduate course focusing on providing knowledge and training in both routine as well as sophisticated laboratory diagnostic procedures. To be eligible for BMLT course, one must pass class 12th in Science stream with PCB/ PCBM from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks. Admission to top BMLT Colleges are done through entrance exams followed by Personal Interview and counselling. Here are the steps to follow for admission to various BMLT colleges given below. First of all, search for the top BMLT colleges, the admission process and the entrance exams accepted. Check the eligibility criteria for the respective colleges and the admission process given in the respective website. The candidates can start the registration process if they meet the requirements. After the registration process, start filling the application form. Provide correct information while filing the form. Upload the required documents after filling the required information. After completely filling the application form, pay the application fee by visiting the payment link provided. The applicants are advised to keep a copy of the application form for future references. Appear for the entrance exam (if any) and wait for the declaration of merit list by the conducting body. The shortlisted candidates are called for PI/ GD round. This is the final round of the admission process, and the candidates must clear this round too. This is followed by counselling.
