Your 1,83,200 All India Rank positioning under the SC category alongside your NEET score of 518 gives you decent prospects to obtain an MBBS seat in either government or private medical colleges through state quota or AIQ. Candidates from the SC category need scores ranging from 500 to 530 to qualify for government colleges and can present scores below 500 to enter private medical institutes.

The probability is better for NEET candidates who apply to states that maintain low admission standards including Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Through the 85% state quota system you have an opportunity to get admission into governm

For securing seats in Government college good NEET scores are required. Cut off in NEET for many college ranges from 400 to 500 marks. If any student scores well in NEET with 76 percent marks in class 12th, he can get seat in government college but if they have scored less in NEET below cutoff then chances are very less.

With 230 marks in NEET 2024, you stand a competitive chance for a BAMS seat in many private colleges.

Private institutions often have more flexible cutoff scores compared to government colleges, which could work in your favor.

However, your exact prospects depend on your category, individual college criteria, and past admission trends.
