Yes NEET and NEET MDS are different and conducted for different purposes.

Talking about NEET/ NEET UG, it is for undergraduate students who are willing to enroll for medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and many more. The eligibility criteria for it is you have to pass class 12 with physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50-55%.

And talking about NEET MDS, it is for postgraduate students who are graduated with BDS degree.

As per Utkal Univeristy cutoff 2024 released on the basis of AIAPGET, the cutoff rank for the General AI category stood at 137. The cutoff was released for admisison to MD in Homoeopathy Materia Medica. In 2023, the cutoff for the same course in the General AI category was 61. In comparison to the previous year, the cutoff has declined this year. 

Utkal University AIAPGET cutoff 2024 was released for admission to MD in Homoeopathy Materia Medica. The cutoff was released on the basis of candidates' performance in the AIAPGET exam scores. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for admission to MD in Homoeopathy Materia Medica was 137. While NEET MDS is a major national level entrance exam for admission to MDS courses, it is not the sole or only entrance exam for this course. Apart from NEET MDS, there is another national level entrance exam, INI CET, conducted by AIIMS Delhi, which is the gateway to this course only at the AIIMS colleges in India. Hence, apart from NEET MDS, INI CET is another entrance exam which aspirants can appear for. Moreover, the National Board of Entrance Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body, has also stated that AIIMS institutes do no accept NEET MDS scores. 

The NEET 2024 cutoff has been released, with the qualifying scores set at 720-164 for the General category, and 163-129 for OBC, SC, and ST categories. The cutoff is determined by the percentile, with 50% for General and 40% for reserved categories. Here are the details:

Yes, it is possible to get admission at government college for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) with a rank of 1048672 in NEET if you are SC category candidate. If you are lucky, you will get admission into any government college in your home state. if not interested, you can opt for other states also

As per BHU cutoff 2024 for the last-round seat allotment, the minimum rank stood at 1098 for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, for the OBC category, the minimum rank stood at 1585 for the MBBS course.

Manipal University offers a list of MD and MS courses via its affiliated colleges. Admission to the courses is based on candidates' performance in the NEET PG exam, followed by the Karnataka NEET PG counselling process. As per the 2024 cutoff, the Karnataka NEET PG closing rank for admission to MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was 5970 during the first round for the General AI category students. 

With 377 marks in NEET, getting admission to a BDS programme in a government college in Punjab may be difficult because the cutoffs for government dental colleges are usually higher. The cutoff marks for BDS courses in government institutions vary every year depending on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and available seats. Generally, the marks in the range of 400-500+ are good chances for government colleges. You may check the official websites of NEET counseling in Punjab, as there may be some chance depending upon the category and other things.

You can apply for NEET with a United States high school Diploma if you have AIU equivalence and meet all required criteria. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English must be included in your curriculum. Minimum PCB scores (50%, adjusted for reserved categories and PwD); and age 17 by December 31st of the admission year. You should must present your AIU certificate during verification.
