Yes, you can get private colleges with a 515 rank in NEET and with a 50 Lacs budget. Although the options to choose from may be fewer, as most of the private institutes have a high fee structure. 515 marks is quite a good score to get admission in private institutes, and you can use college predictor tools to get your expected colleges. The overall answer to your question is yes, you can get admission to budget private colleges, and if you are able to avail scholarships, you'll get a concession in the fees and make it affordable.

238 marks in NEET is quite a low score, and getting a government college with it is quite difficult. The general category cutoff range to get admission in a government college is around 555 to 600 marks depending upon the state. The cutoff depends on the state and category, which you have not mentioned. You can still easily get admission in private colleges such as:

  • Chettinad Hos. and Res. Inst., Kancheepuram

  • Dr. DY Patil Medical College and Hospital, Pune

  • Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai

If you belong to the SC or ST category, you may have a few chances of getting a government seat.

As of now, there is no such information by NTA regarding the reopening of the NEET 2025 registration window. The NEET 2025 registration and application process was conducted from February 7 to March 7, 2025. NTA has not extended the application window. It might reopen the NEET 2025 registration window based on student requests.

No, the NEET 2025 application form and application fee submission last dates were not different. The last date to submit the filled up NEET application form and pay the NEET 2025 application fee was the same, which was March 7, 2025, 11.50 PM. Even though it was not mandatory to submit the NEET application form and fee together, it must have been noted that the NEET 2025 application would not be considered successful unless the requisite application fee is paid. In some years, NTA scheduled the dates or time to pay the NEET application form submission and fee payment separately, but this year, it was the same.

No, NEET exam is held in a single day and slot. The total duration of the NEET exam is three hours, and the timing is 2 PM to 5 PM, as per the Indian Standard Time (IST). Although the exact timing may vary in foreign countries, the total number of slots or shift will remain the same, which is one. Owing to the high number of NEET candidates, the NTA expert committee members had recommended conducting NEET in multiple slots, but it was not approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

NTA released the NEET 2025 final answer key on June 14, 2025. Last year, NTA had released the NEET final answer key on June 4 morning, and the result was declared by the evening. This year also NTA followed the trend. However, on the previous year, i.e. NEET 2023, NTA had released the NEET final answer key a couple of days after the result declaration.

With 306 marks and a 6 Lacs rank in NEET, you will be able to secure a private seat only. If you are looking for a private institute for MBBS under 70 Lacs fees with a hostel, you can go for St. John's National Academy of Health Science and Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. These institutes have their own hospitals too. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai, is also a good institute but has higher fees as compared to the above ones. These institutes generally fall under your rank, and you can easily get admission into these with the rank of 6 lakh.
