With a NEET 2024 score of 361, chances of getting admitted to any government medical college in the state of Uttar Pradesh or other states would be really tough. Cutoffs in government colleges are pretty high and go beyond 500 in many cases. But for you, perhaps, that would be an opportunity from private medical colleges or management quotas, whose cutoffs are generally lower. It's a good idea to get specific cutoffs for colleges of interest; they change each year, depending upon the overall performance of the candidates and seats available.

Of course, it is not impossible for a candidate to secure a place for admission in BPT course through NEET entrance examination. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is basically for admissions to higher studies of medical and dental sciences such as MBBS and BDS. Nevertheless, some state and institution use NEET score for admission to other health- related courses such as BPT offered by any board or institution which is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). At Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, the eligibility criteria for the candidates seeking admission must meet the course-specific eligibility and selection requirements. Admissions to MBBS at the undergraduate level is based on NEET UG score. Also, candidates must have passed 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology with an aggregate of 50% Marks. NEET UG is mandatory to get admission in MBBS at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. The required marks vary based on the category:
General Category: It takes 650-680 out of 1000 to get a government seat depending on the college or university.
OBC Category: A range of 620-650 may be enough in order to be enrolled to a certain university.
SC/ST Category: Considering scores of 500-550 is mostly regarded as.
