Neither course is strictly better as both lead to rewarding careers but they cater to different interests. MBBS is for treating general illnesses/surgeries across whole body and BDS focuses solely on oral health and dental surgery.
Candidates should choose MBBS if they want a wider career in general medicine, enjoy working in hospitals and also don't mind long working hours and high stress. Or they can choose BDS if they prefer a focused field, desire a better work life balance (fewer emergencies), want to own a clinic sooner and also prefer focused or detailed work.

MBBS is a UG course which is taken by candidates who want to be a doctor in allopathic medicine. It is a 5.5 year course (4.5 years of study + 1 year internship) which teaches students how to check illnesses, treat patients and also perform surgeries.

AIIMS Hyderabad cutoff was announced for all rounds and various categories belonging to the All India quota. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff was 1874. Students can see the table below to know the AIIMS Hyderabad MBBS cutoff 2025 for all other All India categories.

AIIMS Bhopal NEET UG cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final rounds of results for the MBBS course. The cutoff was released for various categories under the All India quota.
For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied from 531 to 634, according to the first and last round. Admissions for the year 2025 were closed after NEET UG counselling results for round 2. Please keep in mind that other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.

Government Dental College, Alappuzha BDS cutoff 2025 was published in the form of opening and closing ranks. To get admission for the same, students need to secure at least 29276 rank if they belong to the General AI category.
For the OBC AI category, the minimum rank needed is 41971. For other categories, see the table below.

Government Dental College, Alappuzha NEET cutoff 2025 was released for all round and various categories under the All India quota. The cutoff was published for the BDS course.
For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 29369 in the first round to 29276 in the last round.

Yes, you can get admission at Dental College RIMS, Imphal, for the BDS course with a rank of 27500. The cutoff was released for various categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the round 1 closing rank was 20798, and the last round rank was 60334. Hence, General AI students with a rank of 27500 can avail admissions, just not in the initial round.
