Speech Therapy and Audiology do not fall directly under the categories of Medicine or Pharmacy. Instead, Speech Therapy and Audiology are part of allied health professions or Paramedical courses that focus on addressing communication and hearing disorders.

These fields are typically considered part of the broader category of allied health professions, which includes healthcare disciplines that are distinct from Medicine or Pharmacy but work in collaboration with them to provide comprehensive patient care.

No, Audiology and Speech Therapy do not require an MBBS degree in India. In India, Audiology and Speech Therapy are separate fields that are typically pursued through specific undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

To become an audiologist or a speech therapist in India, candidates would generally need to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or a related field. After completing the undergraduate studies, you may also choose to pursue a Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) for further specialization.
