You should rest assured of a veterinary seat through the government quota with a score of 427 in NEET-2024, coupled with the BC category. Normally, in veterinary courses, the cut-off for the BC category would go up to about 135-138 marks, so your score is quite a number above the normal cut-off; hence, you may be competitive for an admission slot. However, the final seat allotment is based on seat availability, cut-off trends of respective states, and the number of applicants. Keep updated about counseling news. Prepare all the documents that will be required in the case of counseling.

With this rank of 6 lakh, you may not get into some of the best of government medical colleges, but options can be afforded in some of the inexpensive private medical colleges. Some less expensive private medical colleges include Rajasthan University of Health Sciences in Jaipur and Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Jaipur. Another inexpensive option is Yenepoya Medical College in Mangalore. You can also attempt any deemed universities offering MBBS at somewhat lower costs. With 190 marks in NEET getting admission to a government college for BPT will be a bit tough because cutoff usually goes very high. Cutoff is always higher in government colleges due to strong competition. But your scope would probably remain open in some private colleges or even deemed universities that take students according to scores in NEET.

In India, BAMS and BHMS are considered almost similar to MBBS. These courses have strict syllabus including theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Both BAMS and BHMS graduates are legal in India and the practitioners can rightfully licensed to practice.

Yes it's possible for someone who has completed alternative medicine course like BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) again.
If an individual has completed BAMS and wants to change to mainstream allopathic medicine they can attempt NEET exam again to pursue an MBBS course.
