Admission is based on entrance test conducted by Jamia followed by an Interview or other admission formalities
Candidates should have passed a Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidate with Phychology background are preferred although MBBS students can also apply.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is a Government College which is located in Ajmer. Whereas Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences is a private institute. The fees structure in both colleges varies extensively in JLN Ajmer fees is 2.47 Lacs and in HIMSR it is 72 lakhs. Both in teaching aspect are same and have good feedback from the students. JLN Ajmer is old college established in 1965 whereas HIMSR was established in 2012.
So, in conclusion both college have their positive and negative aspects. Both are best in one or the other ways.

The school provides MBBS, MS, MD, and other courses. In order to be admission to the institute, students must meet the institute's requirements and obtain the necessary scores on entrance tests, such as NEET PG MS/MD and NEET UG for MBBS.The 2023 Cutoff for MBBS in Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences was 59571 Rank for General Category. While the cutoff varies according to caste/domicile. The Cutoff for 2022 was 27485 Rank. The NEET UG score is accepted for the admission and 510+ score was the cutoff for past year admissions to the MBBS Course.

It is definitely one of the best medical college in Tamil Nadu ( NIRF rank 40 ).
The college is one of the oldest and manged by a trust established in 1926.
The college even work as training institute for other medical fartenity. So, the teaching faculty is phenomenal. Also the practical exposure quality is better than other medical college due to its network and in house hospital.

Admission is done on the basis of NEET UG Score. The Cutoff for last year was 510+ marks. And a total of 150 seats are there for the MBBS Course. The ranking of the college is quite good and is one of the top most college in Delhi NCR. It has ranked 22 in NIRF Ranking last year. You can expect the cutoff of 27000 - 60000 ranks for general category.

In the Hamdard Institute Of Medical Sciences the cutoff criteria is based on the ranks and not on the percentile. The cutoff rank varies a bit according to the branch of study. Overall cutoff varies from 22000-104000 rank for General Category. The fees for MD Course is between 10,50,000 to 40,00,000 per annum.
