Yes, you have a good chance to get a seat in SNDT College for B.Pharma if your rank is under 5000. But a competitive exam can be much harder than you think if their is a reservation policy for other caste like SC, ST, OBC and if all other students are getting very good marks. Admission to the first year of the B. Pharm. programme requires the candidate to successfully completed the HSC (std.XII) examination from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Additionally, the candidate must have attained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories and individuals with disabilities from Maharashtra State) in the aforementioned subjects. 

Regarding direct admission to the second year of the B. Pharm. programme through Lateral Entry in Pharmacy for Diploma Holders, candidates must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution sanctioned by AICTE, with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Maharashtra). The division awarded in the Diploma/Degree will be taken into account for determining eligibility and respective merit.

Candidate must have a recognized Ayurved acharya (BAMS) Degree. B.A.M.S/B.N.Y.S./B.U.M.S/B.H.M.S. With permanent registration with CCIM or any of the state medical Council of Board.

ADMISSION PROCESS: 

• Candidates need to visit the official website of BHU or the entrance test portal. (https://www.bhu.ac.in/)
• Candidates need to fill up the form ONLINE.
• Application fee has to be made either ONLINE through net-banking or credit/debit card, or in cash through Challan in any branch of HDFC Bank.
• Application fee is INR 500 for GEN/OBC category students and INR 250 for SC/ST/PH candidates.
• For MBA and MBA (IB), the application fee is INR 1500 for GEN/OBC category students and INR 800 for SC/ST students.
• In case the candidate makes an application for more than one course, the application fee for each subsequent application shall be INR 200 and INR 100 for GEN/OBC candidates and ST/SC/PH candidates respectively.

The National Exit Test is now the licentiate exam as well as the national medical postgraduate exam that is mandatory for the students/MBBS aspirants to pass in order to get a “Dr” tag with their name.

Said exam was introduced by the central government of India in the National Medical Commission Bill 2019. The NEXT exam shall be implemented and rolled out in the year 2023 and shall act as a replacement for the FMGE Exam as well as the NEET-PG Exam.

Apart from not qualifying for the seat of your choice for your PG medical course, you can give the exam next year but you can’t do the internship until you pass this exam. Similar to your final year MBBS exams.
