In order to get admission to MBBS at KGMU, there is minimum eligibility criteria for this course. Those who are willing to get admission to MBBS must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects for General category candidates. However, there is a five percent relaxation for reserved category candidates. Candidates from PWD category are required to get 45% and SC/ ST candidates must get minmum of 40% aggregate. AIIMS Deoghar NEET UG Round 3 cutoff for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is 4732 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in AIIMS Deoghar.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 4732 and closing rank was 4732 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. For admission to a three-year MD course at KGMU, there is basic eligibility criteria as per NBE norms. Admissions to this course is based on NEET PG scores. To appear for this entrance exam and admission to MD is offered to those who hold MD degree from a university recognised by Medical Council of India with minimum 55% aggregate in the case of General & OBC categories. There is a relaxation of five percent for SC/ ST category candidates. The reserved category candidates are required to obtain 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of MD.
