A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. No, NEET is not necessary for BSc courses. For admission to most of the BSc courses, candidates must clear Class 12 in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) with a minimum of 50% - 60% aggregate marks. Further, NEET is an entrance examination in India specifically for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses (such as MBBS and BDS) in government or private medical colleges across the country.
