Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Maharashtra NEET PG, which is the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.

Yes, you can take only the biology subject exam from NIOS and still qualify for NEET if you're a maths student. NEET is open to NIOS students who meet the qualifying requirements, including passing the Class XII exam with Biology as a subject and meeting all other requirements. In order to be eligible for NEET, candidates must pass the qualifying test in each of the following subjects: English, physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and biology.
