1st year tuition fees:
Tuition & fees- Rs 17,67,855
Other expenses in 1st year:
Hostel & Meals - Rs 5,14,035
Insurance - 31,012
Total Rs. 5,45,048 (AUD 10,633)

Hi Syed, 
Some of the best universities in Melbourne for mechanical engineering includes University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT University. Australia overall is expensive but check the university websites for the fees and if they fall within your budget. You may also check more options outside Melbourne and keep yourself flexible. For UG, 6 bands are acceptable, but each module score should be at least 5.5 bands or above. Also, some courses may have requirement of 6.5 Bands with no module score less than 6, for e.g. Bachelor in Engineering. Also, considering University of Melbourne, it is really high ranked university. With 68% marks, I am doubtful whether profile would be accepted. You can apply through Navitas for pathway programs.
