Hi Syed,
Some of the best universities in Melbourne for mechanical engineering includes University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT University. Australia overall is expensive but check the university websites for the fees and if they fall within your budget. You may also check more options outside Melbourne and keep yourself flexible. Hello Jaskaran,
For UG, 6 bands are acceptable, but each module score should be at least 5.5 bands or above. Also, some courses may have requirement of 6.5 Bands with no module score less than 6, for e.g. Bachelor in Engineering. Also, considering University of Melbourne, it is really high ranked university. With 68% marks, I am doubtful whether profile would be accepted. You can apply through Navitas for pathway programs.

No, business analytics and data science are not the same. Business analytics involves statistics, maths and information science. It also teaches you to develop a strategic approach for an organisation. Whereas, the study of data science would teach to design, develop and deploy an algorithm that supports in business decision making. They manage and organise large chunks of data to analyse it. The University of Melbourne has 1-year coursework in business analytics.
