For UG, 6 bands are acceptable, but each module score should be at least 5.5 bands or above. Also, some courses may have requirement of 6.5 Bands with no module score less than 6, for e.g. Bachelor in Engineering. Also, considering University of Melbourne, it is really high ranked university. With 68% marks, I am doubtful whether profile would be accepted. You can apply through Navitas for pathway programs.

Whereas, the study of data science would teach to design, develop and deploy an algorithm that supports in business decision making. They manage and organise large chunks of data to analyse it. The University of Melbourne has 1-year coursework in business analytics.
