Hi Amir,
There are numerous employment opportunities in this field. Candidates who have finished the basic course in merchant navy can easily get jobs through various consultants & placement agencies. Merchant navy fleet consist of cargo ships, tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, barge carrying ships, refrigerators ships, passenger ships as well as roll off/roll on ships. The possibility of finding employment in cargo ships is more as compared to the others.

The Indian Maritime University, Chennai conducts all India online common entrance test known as Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test for admission in B.Sc Nautical Science and B.Tech Marine Engineering. It is the central university founded by Ministry of Shipping and Transportation, Government of India. Majority of Indian Merchant Navy training institutes and colleges are affiliated to IMU. You are advised to appear for CET to join merchant navy as an officer.

Eligibility Criteria :
a) The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
b) Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female).
c) Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
d) Admission is through an entrance followed by a screening test and a main written examination.
e) After clearing the test, there is an interview and a medical test. You also need to complete a ship-training course prior to the employment. The course is generally short-term where the candidates are taught basic security concerns of voyaging.

Indian Maritime University (IMU) is a central university under Ministry of Shipping and Transportation to co-ordinate education and grant degrees in the field of Marine Science and Engineering. Majority of marine training colleges are affiliated to IMU. You are advised to appear for Common Entrance Test (CET) to join colleges affiliated to university for training and grant of degrees such as B.Sc nautical science and Bachelor's degree in marine engineering. You are eligible to appear for CET.

Hello Mohit,
You need to do marine engineering. For this, either CET of your state or JEE Mains are the requirements. Of course, you need to score enough in class 12th to qualify.

No, it's not possible because it is a required criteria to pass in PCM with 60% marks. You may give class 12th exams again or go for any other options.
