To suggest colleges during MHT CET option filling, I need your CAP/CET rank and category (e.g. General, EWS, OBC). Cut off ranks vary significantly:
- COEP Pune (CSE): closing ~600–700
- VJTI Mumbai (CSE): closing ~300–400
- PICT Pune (CSE): closing ~1200–1500
- Walchand College, Sangli (CSE): around 2588–3046

Under MH CET Law CAP process, float option is a term through which if candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can choose this 'Float' option. Candidates exercising this option are eligible for appearing in the subsequent counselling rounds. In case they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.

You can approach the possibility of lying for direct second-year B.Tech admission in Pune with more than 82.13% in your Diploma along with a valid MHT-CET score as per DTE Maharashtra's Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Some of the good colleges in Pune that you could consider are PCCOE, PVGCOET, MIT Academy of Engineering, and JSPM's RSCOE. They provide lateral entry seats in branches like Computer, Mechanical, and Electronics.
