Yes, MICA scholarships are awarded based on a student's overall academic performance, his/her family income. Students are selected for MICA scholarships based on criteria mentioned below:
- Family background
- Academic performance and class attendance record
- Scrutiny of ITR and bank statements of the family for previous three years
- Maximum family income INR 10 LPA.

Candidates must pay the application fee while applying for admission to various courses. If the students are applying through the MICAT, attempt as many MICAT question papers as possible, follow the MICAT preparation guidelines, and hence clear the entrance exam.
