Yes it is slightly on the expensive side with around 3.8lacks average tution fees but the facilities and opportunities provided by the institution  justice the price, since they give you high education quality  and exposure to big companies but is still on high end of the tution fees side.

Yes, MIT institute of design is UGC ( University Grant Commission) approved, the institute is affiliated with MIT University of art, design, and technology which is AICTE . It's a legit institute of design for over 17+ years located in Loni Pune Maharashtra.

It is a well-reputed college, and it allows students to work with any company or to start their own business or company. Placements are very good here, and a lot of good companies visit here. Infrastructure: The campus of MIT is very beautiful and lush green, and it is also very neat and clean.The institute is known for its innovative programs, cutting-edge facilities, and experienced faculty. MITID is considered one of the best colleges in India and has successfully transitioned into being a constituent of MIT Art, Design & Technology University.

The cut-off marks of MITID DAT depends upon multiple factor .

The factors -It will be based on the total no of canditate which have appeared in the exam, number of candidates who applied for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. Based on this MITID DAT Cut Off candidates will be selected to appear for the next rounds which are Studio Tests and Personal interviews.

Yes, you can get into MITID with 70%.

You are eligible to take admission . For that you have to clear two stage of admission.

Stage 1- MITID DAT ( Design Aptitude Test) conducted by the MITID and has a weightage of 25 marks

Stage 2 Personal Interview and portfolio review .

For example, the 1-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Innovation Programme costs INR4,95,000, while the 2-year M.Des in Communication Design is INR3,42,500 per year. Expect additional fees like development charges, university fees, and hostel/mess charges. These can add up to another INR 1,20,000-1,50,000 per year.

MIT DAT, (Design Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam accepted by MIT Institute of Design for admission. Other exam scores like JEE or NCHMCT won't work here. They only trust their DAT to judge the design potential.
