Admissions to Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) are primarily entrance-based, meaning that your performance on a standardized national or state-level entrance exam plays a crucial role in determining your admission.

However, the specific entrance exam required and the weightage given to merit (academic performance) in the final selection process can vary depending on the programme you are applying for. MAHER considers both entrance exam scores and merit to a certain extent, entrance exams play a more significant role in determining your admission.

For admission to its certificate programs, the institute does not administer a specific entrance exam; instead, candidates are chosen based on their previous academic standing. The institute offers merit-based scholarships to its students in addition to having a completely merit-based selection process for certificate programs.
