Yes, the Film and Television Institute of India offers course in sound design in Film Wing and TV Wing. As per official brochure of FTII, below are the course names in sound design.

  • Film Wing - MFA in Cinema in Sound Recording & Sound Design
  • TV Wing - One Year PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording & Television Engineering

To get admission to these courses, candidates have to apply and appear for FTII JET entrance exam.

FTII offers One Year PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording and TV Engineering. For admission to this course, candidates have to fulfill below eligibility criteria.

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.

Note - Candidates who have not received their graduation degree before the application date are required to submit the same before the date of admission.

Yes, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) offers a course in Sound Recording and Sound Design. Candidates will have to clear the FTII JET exam to get admission in Sound Design course. For sound engineering, candidate's need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Physics as a subject at senior secondary (10+2) level also they will have to qualify in the written examination of the Joint Entrance Test (JET) of 3 hours duration for 100 marks, conducted at examination centres around the country.
