Both KJ Somaiya and DJ Sanghvi are equally good for placements, but DJ Sanghvi sometimes has an advantage. However, DJ Sanghvi is better than KJ Somaiya because of its faculty. Some say that DJ Sanghvi has a brilliant faculty with many well-known authors and experienced professors.

According to Shiksha, the B.Tech. in Computer Engineering course at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 39 students, while the same course at DJ Sanghvi is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 33 students.
