Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College (also known as NMREC) is one of the well-known colleges, established in 2001. NMREC is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, and was affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college was accredited by the NBA and certified by NAAC with an 'A' grade.
