The NID Gandhinagar and NID Ahmedabad are in one state, they both are managed by the same government of India. The IIRF rank of NID Gandhinagar is 17 and IIRF rank of NID Ahmedabad is 1. You can get the similarities in infrastructure and extracurricular activities likes fest, events, and expos .

So, overall you might find some similarities between them, but NID Ahmedabad is top.

The NID Ahmedabad has higher IIRF rank than NID Gandhinagar and it has higher package, placement, and internship.

The NID Gandhinagar placements are lower than the NID Ahmedabad in most cases as the top most MNC's prefer the institute with higher rank.

The National Institute of Design (NID) Vijayawada accepts NID DAT scores for admission to B.Des. The minimum cutoff for B.Des in 2023 was 50 marks for the General category. The cutoff for three B.Des specializations, including Communication Design, Industrial Design, and Textile and Apparel Design, was 62.2.

To be considered for admission, candidates must appear in both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. A merit list is created for each category based on the results of DAT Prelims. Candidates are then called for DAT Mains, which includes a studio test and interview.
