Yes, NID Vijayawada, also known as the National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh, is considered a good college for Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs. The college offers three undergraduate B.Des programs and provides a multidisciplinary design education. NID Vijayawada is affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, and conducts the selection process based on the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The college does not offer scholarships but provides excellent placement opportunities for its students.

The four-year Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme is offered in four specialisations, I.e., Communication Design, Foundation Programme, Industrial Design and Textile, Apparel, Lifestyle & Accessory Design. Communication Design has four disciplines: Film And Video Communication, Exhibition Design, Animation Film Design and Graphic Design.

Comparing NID Ahmedabad with NIFT Delhi for their Design programme for their BDes programme based on multiple components such as course fees, package, and accepted exams:
