NID Bengaluru MDes admission is offered to the applicants who clear the NID DAT cut-off for their reservation category. The cut-off is released in various rounds. It varies across the MDes specialisations available at the institute. As of now, the latest cut-off for MDes admission at the institute is not available. Meanwhile, candidates can refer to the following table for the Round 1 cut-off for the General-All India category in 2021:

No, the application window for NID Bangalore MDes admissions 2025 is not open. The institute started accepting applications for admission to the current academic year (2025-26) in September. The application window remained open till December. The last date to apply for admission was Dec 6, 2025 (extended). Currently, the institute is conducting the seat allocation process for the MDes programme. The academic year is set to commence on June 30, 2025.

NID Bengaluru MDes admission is granted to eligible applicants who qualify in the two-stage Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the institute.
