Though NIFT counselling is scheduled as per CMR but choice of center is offered to candidates as per Category Rank and NIFT Delhi being top center among all 16 NIFT centers cross India gets the best lot in all four categories like :-
General: 1-15
OBC (Non-Creamy): 1-8
SC: 4
ST: 2

No, you need to pay full fees but you will get full scholarship if you apply at National Scholarship Portal 2.0 with all the required documents as per your caste/category.

It depends on your attitude to your career. As you have changed your field completely from M.Sc to fashion designing, I am sure it is not a one-day decision. You selected this thing for the rest of your life then you must have a keen interest in fashion designing industry. Designers mostly work for self in their own boutiques and prices of their items are very high, as it is created by their hard work. Earnings of them depends upon their creativity and selling and communication skills with customers and if you have good public relations, then you can earn very good.

If you are in class 12th, then you will first have to do Bachelor's degree, only after that you will be eligible to do Master's degree. If you are interested for B. Des, then you can go for colleges like NIFT and pearl in Delhi.

You need to pass the NIFT examination for getting into NIFT. But in case if you don't qualify the NIFT exam, you can get admission in other institutions who provide the designing courses.
