Unfortunately no . National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT) does not accept admission without the NIFT entrance examination. There is no management quota or anything as such that can ensure a student's admission without merit .
Candidates must appear in the NIFT examination and score a decent rank to get admission in NIFT Delhi.

It can be challenging, but not impossible, to pass the National Institute of Fashion Technology's NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFT has extremely competitive admissions since it is one of the most well-known and sought-after institutions in India for fashion design education. NIFT Delhi offers admission to undergraduate and graduate programmes via the NIFT Entrance Exam. The NIFT New Delhi cutoff 2023 shows that the previous round closing rank for B.Des for general category students of the All India quota ranged from 72 to 1639.

NIFT Delhi has not released the highest package offered for the year 2024. However, as per Shiksha review, the highest package offered to BDes in Textile Design and Leather Design offered was INR 14 LPA and INR 12 LPA during the recent placement drive, respectively. For better understanding, students can see the table mentioned below:

Comparing NID Ahmedabad with NIFT Delhi for their Design programme for BDes programme based on multiple components such as course fees, package, and accepted exams:

Yes, NIFT Patna is more expensive than NIFT Delhi. All the courses at NIFT Delhi are cheaper. If we compare the fees of both the institutes, The average total fees for all the specialisations of B Des courses at NIFT Patna is 12.34 lacs. While at NIFT Delhi the average total fees for all B Des courses is 10.84 lacs. The difference can be clearly seen, the difference is of around 1.5 lacs. Although scholarships facilities are available for the students in both the institutes. The final admission choice should be made by not only seeing the fees factor, but other factors also.

The rankings of NIFT Delhi is higher than NIFT patna. But we talk about specifically about placements, in the 2023 placement drive, NIFT Patna offered better placements. The above statement can easily be justified by taking a look at the packages. The average pacakges of both the Institutes were around 4.5 lpa. The main difference was seen in the highest once. At NIFT delhi the highest pacakge offered was around 15 lpa, while at NIFT Patna the highest package offered was 22 lpa. The difference can be easily seen. Yes, NIFT Patna is as good as NIFT Delhi. In many factors NIFT Delhi is ahead of NIFT Patna but NIFT Patna is one of the coolest collegea of Bihar. According to 2023 ranking of India today, NIFT Delhi was ranked #1 and NIFT Patna was ranked #7. The difference can be clearly seen NIFT Delhi is ranked much more better than NIFT Patna. Placement pacakges are better in NIFT Patna, the highest and the average package offered here were 22 LPA and 4.5 LPA respectively. It is clear from a comparison of Doon University, NIFT Delhi and Dev Bhoomi University for BDes course that the tuition costs that each university has special benefits to offer. Despite having a reasonable tuition charge of Doon University for BDes course is low comparatively with NIFT Delhi and Dev Bhoomi University, Uttrakhand.
