NIFT New Delhi has not released the 2023 placements data as of now. However, some statistics for NIFT Delhi MDes placement of 2022 are as follows:
- the highest package: INR 12 LPA - INR 15 LPA
- PG average package: INR 5.70 LPA

As per the students’ reviews on Shiksha, the placement rate recorded during BDes placements in 2024 has been 99%. Further, the highest, average and lowest packages offered during NIFT Delhi BDes placements 2024 stood at INR 12 LPA, INR 7 LPA and INR 4 LPA, respectively. National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India. The NIFT Act of the Indian Parliament made NIFT Delhi a statutory institution in 2006 and gave it the authority to award its own degree. The National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi is the first of the country's 19 NIFTs to open as a campus. NIFT Delhi is also a government institution with autonomy. NIFT Delhi's campus infrastructure has won numerous awards.

The faculty at NIFT Delhi is well-educated and goal-oriented. Each of them hold a PhD degree in their respective field and is really helpful. They instruct their students via PowerPoint presentations and are quite skilled in their respective disciplines. They also include relevant literature that should be utilised as references. Mentoring sessions are also scheduled on a weekly basis.

NIFT Delhi offers UDAAN - Means cum Merit scheme for foreign students. The scholarship is offered to economically weaker students. The scholarship will be given to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of the regular programme of NIFT excluding those admitted under NRI/ NRI sponsored category. Students can apply for the scholarship via online application and submitting a fee of INR 2,000.

Yes, pursuing a fashion design course from NIFT Delhi is good in terms of placements. According to latest students' reviews on Shiksha page, NIFT Delhi recorded 99% placements recently. Highest and average package secured by recent BDes batch was INR 18 LPA and INR 8 LPA.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT Delhi) is widely considered as the best Design institute in the country for all of its courses.
