Joining NIFT Kolkata without entrance exam doesn't seem like a possibility. As per the Institution's admission guidelines, candidates must appear for the The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) exam. The exam is conducted once every year and has TWO parts:
- Written Exams - It comprise the GAT and CAT. The GAT paper is mandatory for all programs, while only BDes and MDes candidates need to take the CAT.
- Situation Test/ Personal Interview - BDes candidates who get shortlisted have to appear in the Situation Test, whereas PG candidates need to appear in a Personal Interview. The only exception is BFT

For admission to NIFT Kolkata, candidates needn to clear the e Th National Institute of Technology (NIFT). The exam is conducted once every year and has TWO parts:

NIFT Kolkata offers both UG and PG programmes in Fashion Designing, Bachelor of Fashion Technology, Leather Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication, etc. NIFT admission based on the NIFT entrance exam. At the end of the admission procedure, candidates are required to pay the tuition for final seat allotment. Find below course wise fees:

NIFT Delhi BDes admission cycle commences with the release of NIFT Entrance Exam dates. As admission to this UG course is based on merit in the entrance test. Therefore, candidates are required to fill the NIFT Application form. To fill out the form, you will have to get registered, fill in personal, academic, and contact details, upload documents, and pay the application fee. The NIFT application fee is INR 3000.

NIFT Delhi BDes admission 2024 cycle commences with the release of NIFT Entrance Exam dates. As admission to this UG course is based on merit in the entrance test. As per the past years' trends, the application window is expected to open in November and close by December month of the academic year. Students who are seeking to get admitted in National Institute for Fashion Technology, Kolkata should have to appear in written exams conducted by NIFT. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kolkata founded in 1995. It is a Government college that provides various options for students in the field of fashion.
