To get admission in NIFT Kolkata, students must clear the admission criteria of the desired programme as precribed by the institute. The institute accepts students based on a valid score in the NIFT Entrance Exam, which includes the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). Students who clear both tests are required to appear for the situation test for the final selection. The institute scrutinises the performance of candidates in the selection rounds to shortlist students. Selected students must pay the admission fees for seat confirmation.
