NIT Silchar admission 2024 to variuos programmes is done basis the national-level entrance exam. Candidates need to apply online for NIT Silchar admissions. NIT Silchar admission to BTech programme is done basis JEE Main score, followed by JoSAA counselling. During the counselling process, all the candidates are required to fill in their choices of colleges and courses which is based on their JEE Main scores and preferences, they are allocated seats in the institute. After the completion of counselling process, the candidates are required to pay the fees and confirm their admission.

1. NIRF Ranking: At the 38th spot in the NIRF rankings, NIT Silchar is placed ahead of NIT Agartala. NIT Agartala is ranked 80th on the same list.
