To participate in the Assam NEET counselling process, candidates must fulfill the following eligiblity criteria:

  • Candidates must have appeared and qualified for NEET 2025 exam
  • They must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2025
  •  Candidates must be permanent natives of Assam
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 Board exam in Science stream and in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have secured minimum of 50 per cent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at Class 12 Science level for General Candidate (GE), 40 per cent for SC/ST candidates and 45 per cent for benchmark

There are two types of NEET counselling: state counselling and central, or national counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, is in charge of NEET central counselling. The MCC administers the NEET counselling procedure for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. 830 MD/MS/PG Diploma and 313 MDS seats will be admitted through MP NEET PG counselling. To be assigned a seat, candidates must take part in the counselling rounds. Students must register on the official website and indicate their course and college preferences.

Yes, in order to take part in the counselling process, you must meet the requirements for NEET. The sole criteria for admission to all UG medical and dentistry programmes in Haryana, India, is the NEET scores. Candidates must achieve the NEET minimum score as specified by NTA, regardless of whether they are part of the Management Quota or the NRI Quota.

Hello there

There is some sort of security charges associated with NEET UG counselling.The charges depends upon it is a central college or state college. 

For 15% All India Quota/ Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi)/AFMS & ESI, the non-refundable Registration fee will be will be Rs.1000/- for UR candidates & Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates. The refundable security amount will be Rs.10,000/- for UR candidates & Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH.

 

For Deemed Universities, Non Refundable Registration fee will be Rs.5000/- & Refundable Security amount will be Rs. 2,00,000/- for all candidates.
